Selzer Gurvitch Represents The Ken Mill Apartments in Silver Spring Multifamily Sale

Selzer Gurvitch was pleased to provide legal support to The Ken Mill Apartments in the sale of a 66-unit apartment building in Silver Spring, MD, built in the mid-1960s. The deal was brokered by Jesse Mates and Scott Melnick of Melnick Real Estate Advisors (“MREA”), a preeminent multifamily property brokerage company. The Selzer Gurvitch team, led by Brian Kotzker, handled the negotiations and documentation of the purchase and sale agreement and ensured compliance with Montgomery County Code right of first refusal requirements as to the Dept of Housing and Community Affairs, Housing Opportunities Commission and tenants. We assisted in due diligence matters and continuous communications with the buyer’s attorney and the settlement agency. Finally, we prepared and concluded all closing deliverables and documentation.
