Elizabeth J. McInturff represents individuals and businesses throughout Maryland and Washington D.C. in complex civil and commercial disputes. She also represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries in estate and trust litigation, in addition to having extensive experience in guardianship matters.

She has significant experience before Maryland and Washington D.C.’s State, Federal, and Appellate Courts. In addition to her litigation practice, Elizabeth believes that clients are often best served through alternative dispute resolution, and she regularly represents clients in mediation, as well as before administrative and arbitration bodies.

Elizabeth’s practice is underpinned by a deep commitment to her clients as individuals, focusing on their distinct concerns and goals. She stays connected to her client’s interests to devise creative strategies to best protect and promote those interests. Elizabeth’s hands-on approach means she regularly communicates with her clients as she develops case strategies that help them obtain the best possible outcomes, whether through negotiation or litigation.

A Maryland and Washington D.C. “Super Lawyer,” she has also been recognized as a “Maryland Leading Woman” by The Daily Record and named a Top Attorney in the areas of Civil Litigation, Family & Divorce, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Elder Law by Bethesda Magazine.

Outside of work, Elizabeth is deeply connected to her community. She serves on the Board of Directors to Add Impact Network, Inc./Bike to the Beach, a local 501(c)3 non-profit. She is an active member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, holding several leadership positions and serving on a number of committees. She also serves as a mentor to student athletes at the University of Delaware and is a competition coach at American University, Washington College of Law.
