Jennifer has been a litigator for over 30 years — nine years working for the Federal Government and 23 years in private practice.  While in private practice, she has focused on areas of complex commercial contract disputes, representing broker-dealers in arbitrations before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), litigating business disputes involving theft of trade secrets and tortious interference with business relations, and defending businesses against employment discrimination claims before the EEOC and in state and federal courts, and representing insurance carriers in commercial policy coverage disputes.

Jennifer is a versatile problem solver who likes to dive into the details before committing to an answer.  Clients often praise her candor in predicting outcomes in a direct and honest way so that there are no surprises in the course of a litigation.

Jennifer began her career as a law clerk for Chief Judge John Garrett Penn in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.  She spent the next several years as a trial attorney in the Department of Justice Tax Division and then as an Assistant Federal Public Defender in the District of Columbia. Jennifer received a B.A. in Political Science from Swarthmore College and her Juris Doctorate degree from Catholic University, Columbus School of Law.
