Mark Rabin has built a distinguished legal career over more than 45 years, earning the trust and repeat business of commercial real estate and corporate clients nationwide. Known as a thoughtful listener, skilled negotiator and practical advisor, he is widely respected for his representation of national and regional companies and organizations.

Mark represents real estate developers, commercial lenders, capital markets and equity service providers, commercial landlords and tenants and a broad range of corporate and business entities. Clients value his strong business judgment and his ability to analyze and prioritize complex information to develop effective strategies for sophisticated negotiations and transactions.

Motivated by the intellectual challenge of problem-solving, Mark delivers creative, tailored solutions for every matter. His experience includes recapitalizations and private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, long-term ground leases and complex commercial real estate transactions, with counsel customized to the unique objectives of each deal.

Mark earned his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law and his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Boston University. He is admitted to practice in Maryland and Washington, D.C., as well as the U.S. District Courts for both jurisdictions. He holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, has been recognized as “Legal Elite” by Washington Smart CEO Magazine and is a member of the Maryland, Montgomery County, and D.C. Bar Associations. Mark has taught Real Estate and Secured Lending to professional audiences, including courses at the American Institute of Banking, and has served in executive roles on numerous nonprofit boards. He is a past-President of the Board of Directors of Makom (formerly the Jewish Foundation for Group Homes).
