Natasha James is an attorney in the firm’s Real Estate practice group, where she provides strategic guidance on a broad range of real estate and commercial matters. She works with clients on issues such as commercial leases, contracts, property acquisitions and dispositions as well as complex negotiations. She has significant experience with due diligence in real estate deals, ensuring that her clients have a clear and thorough understanding of their investments.

Natasha’s practice extends to representing condominium associations, homeowner associations and housing cooperatives, offering counsel on governance, operational matters and compliance with relevant laws. Her expertise in both the transactional and operational aspects of real estate enable her to deliver comprehensive solutions to meet the unique circumstances of each matter.

Before joining Selzer Gurvitch, Natasha gained valuable litigation experience at a prominent D.C. law firm. She earned her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law and her B.A. from Rollins College. During law school, she served as a staff member of the American University Business Law Review, where she sharpened her legal research and writing skills.

Outside of her legal practice, Natasha enjoys reading, golfing, traveling, and spending time with her yellow lab, Riley. Her diverse interests and approachable demeanor make her not only a skilled attorney but also a trusted partner to her clients.
