Are you an experienced Family Law paralegal with over 5 years of experience seeking personal development and growth? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are looking for paralegals to support our Family Law attorneys. Ideal candidates will possess strong organizational skills, an interest in family law, excellent client service abilities, and analytical skills to leverage for further growth and opportunities.
Your experience and strengths should include excellent organizational, writing and communication skills, and the ability to interact with clients, corporate officials, and vendors in a professional manner. You must be able to perform at a high level and efficiently in a team-oriented environment and have the ability to prioritize work assignments to meet client specific deadlines. Five years of paralegal experience is required. A Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certification from an accredited source is preferred.

Position Responsibilities
- Case Management: Organizing and maintaining case files, including documents, correspondence, and exhibits.
- Client Communication: Acting as a liaison between clients and attorneys, scheduling appointments, and providing updates on case progress.
- Legal Research: Conducting research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
- Document Preparation: Assisting with drafting legal documents.
- Court Filings: Preparing and filing documents with the court, ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines.
- Trial Preparation: Periodically assisting with trial preparation.
- Mediation and Settlement Support: Assisting in the preparation for mediation and settlement conferences.
- Financial Analysis: Reviewing and analyzing financial documents related to child support, alimony, and property division.
- Administrative Tasks: Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
- Client Support: Providing emotional support and guidance to clients throughout the legal process.

Position Requirements
- College degree or paralegal certificate
- 5 years’ experience as a family law paralegal
Skills needed to be successful in this role:
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when evaluating legal matters.
- Ability to proofread typed material for contextual, grammatical, typographical or spelling errors. Attention to detail is a must.
- Ability to timely deploy the steps to enact counsel’s and client’s strategy on the transactions.

Our firm offers a collegial work environment, exciting opportunities for professional growth, and generous benefits, including 12 weeks (paid) parental leave, health, vision, and dental benefits for the employee with the ability to purchase family coverage, and a 401(k) plan, all subject to eligibility requirements. Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 depending on experience. Annual bonuses (variable depending on performance).
